We’ve recently begun implementing the Service Plans feature to manage our company’s annual Maintenance Plans. However, we’ve encountered a workflow challenge related to the handling of plan start dates. Our Maintenance Plan structure is based on the actual first maintenance visit, not on the date the Service Plan is emailed or approved. Sometimes clients need to delay their plan start date after paying, and we must be able to adjust the start and end dates accordingly. The issue: Once a Service Plan is paid, Workiz locks the start and end dates. We are unable to modify them even when a client legitimately needs their plan to begin later. This prevents us from accurately scheduling their maintenance visits and managing their coverage period. Our request: Is it possible to enable a feature (either global or via feature flag) that allows us to edit the Service Plan start and end dates after payment has been completed? This functionality is essential for our workflow, as the plan start date must align with the client’s first maintenance visit—not the date they signed or paid. We appreciate any options, settings adjustments, or feature enablements that would allow greater flexibility with these dates.
