Customers handling large projects (e.g., HVAC installations) often receive payments from multiple funding sources, such as the homeowner, utility providers, and rebate programs. Currently, Workiz only supports a single billing profile per job/invoice, requiring customers to either bill one entity for the full amount or create duplicate jobs/invoices, which impacts reporting and revenue accuracy. Requested functionality: Allow multiple bill-to entities on a single job/invoice. Enable splitting invoice amounts or line items across different billing profiles. Generate separate invoices for each funding source while keeping all invoices tied to the same job. Maintain accurate reporting without duplicating job revenue. Ensure Client Portal behavior clearly reflects the intended recipient for each invoice. Use Case Example: Homeowner: Receives the service. Rebate Entity: Pays $5,000. Utility Provider: Finances the remaining $15,000. This enhancement would simplify workflows for contractors working with rebates, financing programs, and third-party funding while improving reporting accuracy and reducing duplicate records.

I know this has been asked for before. Not seeing the deposit amount on the estimate is an issue for my clients that aren't comfortable with going into the portal. Many of our older clients will only look at the pdf. Even those that do go into the portal have a difficult time locating the deposit amount. Can we just add a deposit field in the document creater dropdown menu please?

Allow up to organize notes and present findings more clearly with the ability to change text size, add bullet points, make text bold etc...

In addition to having optional items, I’d also love to be able to create Sections or Groups in an estimate. For example, we get on a lot of jobs where we’re doing an estimate in multiple rooms (5-7 rooms), and the client always says, “Can you separate out each room?” I would like the ability to put together an option for Bedroom 1, which would include all the line items for that room, and then we could add a “New Section” (Bedroom 2), and not every item in a section is optional, only the sections are optional. This would certainly greatly help reduce all the optional items. I was at an estimate the other day, and they had 15 rooms in this commercial office building for me to look at. They wanted quotes for each room individually, so unfortunately, since Workiz does not offer the ability to do sections I had to write that estimate in the a different estimating platform because they had the ability to create sections or individual rooms we can create the line items and then the client can approve each section they want to proceed with and decline other sections.

We need to be able to create more than one invoice for the same job. Because sometimes a homeowner has an out-of-pocket. And the home warranty or property management pays the difference, and there's no way to track that per job. Especially when each of them require a receipt.

Many times, the person signing our paperwork is not the main contact for our commercial customers. It would be very helpful if we could make the field to print their name a requirement before they can accept the signature.

I'd like to request improvements to the Good / Better / Best proposal experience in Workiz. Currently, customers have to open each package individually to see what's included, and the 140-character description limit makes it difficult to communicate the value of each option. This creates extra clicks and makes comparing packages more difficult than it needs to be. It would be a significant improvement if customers could compare packages side by side without opening each one. A comparison table with checkmarks showing which services are included in each package would make the selection process much faster and clearer. Additional enhancements that would greatly improve the customer experience include: Larger package descriptions with support for bullet points and line breaks. The ability to highlight a package as "Most Popular" or "Best Value." Larger package images or banners instead of small thumbnails. Rich text formatting (bold, icons, spacing) to improve readability. Many home service companies use Good / Better / Best selling, and making package comparisons easier would not only improve the customer experience but also help increase proposal conversion rates. I used to be able to attach however many photos I needed on the estimate and the only issue would be when I send the estimate. Now it won't let you attach more than 25 MB. This is problematic because it is a downgrade and service while still charging the same price. If the customer is using the client portal, then we should be able to attach however, many photos we'd like.
