Feature Requests

When we add equipment, we would like to be able to add a date of manufacture. We would like to use this to specifically target customers with information and services for equipment over a certain age.

As an HVAC and Refrigeration contractor it would be a great idea to show equipment that was worked on customers invoice. The equipment that is imputed at customers location should have the option to be shown and printed on invoice as perhaps a "Insert Values". Information as Brand, Model, Serial, Id, ext. The way Im doing it now is i had to create custom fields and added to invoice. I cant tell you how much of a hassle it is to always input the information for every job it is, when equipment information is already stored in there file. I think not only helpful for the HVAC businesses but perhaps plumbers, Appliance Service businesses, Electricians, or anyone business that are using the equipment option.

We have 10+ years of customers with equipment and corresponding information. Would love to be able to bulk import instead of having to manually add for each customer

have the equipment entry linked to the product book/price book/products to bring in the name, model, desc.

Example in the HVACR industry there is extra information that is important to know before going out to a job. Such as filter size, belt size, refrigerant type, ect.. Just makes sensor that information to be post in the equipment section for easy finding, and NOT having to plug in as a note. I wish Workiz would focus more on the imports of the equipment feature and look at the suggestions in this category. This is a big plus in the HVACR and appliance repair businesses!

Allow to track inventory sales to techs or customers without connecting to a job

I don't see a way to add flat rate items to equipment on the mobile app. You can on the PC.

This client has 200 properties he services with many of his machines in each. It would be a huge help to be able track the assets based on property. Saving time.

We are an HVAC company, it would be great to be able to click on the equipment we serviced on a call, and add a brief(or detailed) description of service that is time stamped. And for there to be an option that tracks parts that are changed and dates/warranty's for those parts for the selected unit. Where our technicians can have a centralized location to access a units history quickly and easily

We must be able to insert the serial number, location and etc., from the Equipment Information into the invoice. I have huge companies that have many icemakers and I am unable to attach a serial number, location or any field from Equipment Info to the invoice. ALL MY CUSTOMERS WANT TO KNOW WHAT UNIT THEY ARE BEING BILLED FOR
