Feature Requests

We are an HVAC company, it would be great to be able to click on the equipment we serviced on a call, and add a brief(or detailed) description of service that is time stamped. And for there to be an option that tracks parts that are changed and dates/warranty's for those parts for the selected unit. Where our technicians can have a centralized location to access a units history quickly and easily

Example in the HVACR industry there is extra information that is important to know before going out to a job. Such as filter size, belt size, refrigerant type, ect.. Just makes sensor that information to be post in the equipment section for easy finding, and NOT having to plug in as a note. I wish Workiz would focus more on the imports of the equipment feature and look at the suggestions in this category. This is a big plus in the HVACR and appliance repair businesses!

When creating my invoice layout in WI, I am unable to add equipment info such as model and serial number to invoice so customer knows what this invoice was for "unit". This would be helpful for customers with alot of different equipment.

We should be able to send a customer a link that expires within a certain time frame (say after the job is completed). The link should show the trucks live location (for those that use that feature).

Asset tracking does not work properly for this scenario. We are dropping Dumpster #1 off at a clients house, the clients rental period expires and they want the dumpster emptied & returned to their address. Workiz does no allow for me to put the same asset (Dumpster #1) as a job item because this asset is already in use. It does not matter when the dumpster is assigned to pick up, you cannot put the same dumpster asset twice on the same job.

have the equipment entry linked to the product book/price book/products to bring in the name, model, desc.

Reporting and search should be using all available info from Workiz but it does not. For example, if you search for a serial number it will not find it. There is no reporting that shows info such as warranty end dates for stored equipment. if we are spending all of this time to put all of our info into this system why cant we use it when needed. At this point we have to keep a separate spreadsheet or system to keep up with the warranty end dates.

We must be able to insert the serial number, location and etc., from the Equipment Information into the invoice. I have huge companies that have many icemakers and I am unable to attach a serial number, location or any field from Equipment Info to the invoice. ALL MY CUSTOMERS WANT TO KNOW WHAT UNIT THEY ARE BEING BILLED FOR
