automations have several limitations which negate the benefit of having them. Examples include; Some starting conditions (i.e. when an invoice is paid in full) do not allow you to drill down into further qualifications (i.e. job type). The automations have limited condition allotments, and they're not the same across all automation types. When using multiple conditions (i.e. only if client tag IS NOT, and IS NOT...) workiz is unable to see all of them, you have to create individual lines for each one. 3- Unable to CC multiple team members on automations (you have to create a new one if you want more than one people notified, which is painful b/c we are only allowed a limited # of automations) 4- Limiting the # of automations available to me as a user- I've never seen this done in a software before. On the highest paid level plan- what is the reasoning behind this? Unlimited users should have unlimited automations. 5- If you update an automation to send to a different person, the automation will continue sending to the wrong person unless you de-activate/re-active it or delete & recreate. 6- Inability to group automations, making it difficult to work through them (i.e. I'd like all of my AR automations together so I can work through the whole automation flow to ensure the follow ups to Clients make sense) 7- Inability to do mass communication (i.e. text ALL clients with X tag [promo]) 8- Inability to do "OR" / "AND" conditions (i.e. If a job has a status of "approved" OR "won"...) another example would be "when a lead is created AND has a status of New...) again problematic due to arbitrary automation limitations on # of automations allowed per account. 9- Inability to automate reports (i.e. when a monthly performance pay report is created for [user], send email to X) 10- No automations starting with When "A Client..." 11- Cannot add time frames (i.e. When a job is "in progress" for 30 days...." OR "when a lead is "new" for 48 hours...) These are a few off the top of my head, will try to update with more as I remember/they arise

When opening the chat you should be able to pause upcoming automations with that person. We have an automation to follow up on an estimate after 3 days but often times we have already talked to the customer before hand and they still get that automation. Auto response with genius ai disables when we respond the automations should have the same trigger. Showing a pending automation in customer chat box with an enable/disable feature would be great

there should be a way to inform assigned tech automatically to save the hassle of texting them so they pickup materials, it will save time and make sure tech is responsible to get ready for his jobs.

It would be helpful to have an option in the automation system to condition rules based on whether an estimate is open or not. Currently, this functionality is not available, limiting the ability to automate certain workflows that depend on the estimate status. Adding this feature would improve automation flexibility and efficiency.

When leads are new, then get scheduled with a date... the system should automatically set it to "scheduled". Defeats the purpose of having automations when leads are 'scheduled'. We still have to remember to set them to "scheduled". 100% of our leads book until after we contact them.

I would love a feature where we can easily send a test automation to ensure it is doing what we intend it to. It is a challenge of time, patience and ingenuity to test, otherwise. A little rollover info button to help describe components to help gauge if the best choice, ie the built-in link shortcuts. Some things are straightforward and others aren't. A more intuitive user experience going back and forth between viewing automations and editing automations. I can't tell you how many times I pressed "x" when trying to go back from editing, and I x-ed out of the whole automation screen, then had to start all over again. Further, once exiting an edit, it goes back to "all automations" and doesn't remember if you were in "all", "active", or "inactive", forcing you to click, and find where you were working again. When you have a long list of items, it's kind of a UIX nightmare.

We'd like to follow up with an email after we send an estimate to a lead. However, it does not have the ability to add the assigned tech name in the email or text. We also use this feature to notify admin when an estimate has been signed, but with 5 sales reps we do know who it belongs to. The 'assigned tech' short code exists in Job type automations, but not in the Estimate automations. The other issue here, which I should probably start a different thread, is that we use Sales Proposals. So when we send the entire proposal (which most of the time it has 3 or more estimate) this triggers 3+ times! Which makes no sense. If I send one individual estimate or proposal, it should trigger this automation only once!

Please have the invoice due date to be set on the date of invoice creation while keeping the options to change if necessary. Everytime an invoice is created, the due now date sometimes is two months ago or days ahead. It makes absolutely no sense to need to manually change that every single time. It seems to be a simple fix.
