Feature Requests

If workiz cannot allow things like "cc" other team members on a single automation, or more complex automations in a single automation, or a sequenced automation (i.e. outstanding invoice reminders at 24 hrs, 3 days, 5 days, etc) we need unlimited automations. It is extremely painful to have to use up 2 automations for the exact same message to go to two members, or to create a sequence for the same task.

Automations "if" conditions show "amount" and "amount due", but they relate to that particular job, not the client balance. Hence they may owe money from prior unpaid jobs, but workiz allows them to submit a new order. We need to know before we do a new job that all prior jobs/invoices are paid.

It would be nice to organize the automations by similarity (dragging and dropping them below/above similar automations). It would also be nice to have a "group" system for Automations, basically customizable categories that some automations would fall under (i.e. Follow-up emails, internal automations, service plan automations, etc.)

As title says, would be HUGELY beneficial to automate custom document deliveries

We need the ability for a customer clicking the appointment or job confirmation link to trigger automations inside Workiz. Right now, when a customer confirms through the confirmation link, there should be an option for Workiz to automatically update the record instead of us having to do it manually. Requested automation options: Change lead or job status automatically Add or remove tags automatically Update booking status automatically Trigger internal notifications to the team Trigger follow-up automations based on the confirmation Example use case: If a customer clicks the confirm link for a scheduled appointment, Workiz should be able to automatically: change the status to Appointment Confirmed add a Confirmed tag remove any Pending Confirmation tag notify the assigned user or office team Why this matters: Reduces manual admin work Keeps statuses and tags accurate Makes automations more useful Helps teams respond faster and stay organized Prevents confirmed appointments from being missed or left in the wrong status This would make the confirmation workflow much more powerful and help businesses automate what happens after a customer confirms.

Ability to add tags at the customer level in automations.

The only way to reorder automations is to delete and add the automations back in a logical order. Would be great to put our automations for similar topics near each other than have to scroll up and down through the automations...

It would be amazing if it were possible to set up automations so that when a technician sends an ETA text to a customer, the job status automatically changes to “In Progress,” and when the technician stops their time on the job, the status automatically updates to “Done.” This would streamline the process so technicians don’t have to manually send the ETA text, start their time, update the status, then stop their time and add notes. It would all stay in sync automatically.

We should be able to drag & drop automations to better organize them plz
