When searching in the price book like in the attached screenshot where I am trying to add an item to an estimate, the search is using a full-phrase search. I would expect at the very least a tokenized search, but I really would expect a fuzzy search because of how easy it is to implement, in my experience. This search is leading to many false negatives for us and making it impossible to find some simple products like a basic 3/4" Sweat Copper 90. We have tried repeatedly in many different ways and still can't find this most basic of plumbing fitting.

We would like an AI feature integrated into the Estimates and Items text fields that helps technicians quickly turn simple or technical notes into professional, clear, and more persuasive descriptions. Example: Tech writes: “replace gasket fridge door leaking air” AI converts to a clean, customer-friendly explanation that highlights the issue and value of repair. Key benefits: Saves time for technicians Makes estimates look more professional Improves customer understanding Increases approval rates Optional: allow different tones (professional / simplified / sales-focused) with one click. This would greatly improve efficiency and consistency across the team.

We should be able to organize the layout of the price book, selecting specific categories to show at the top. We would want the categories we use the most to be the first ones that are seen, or be able to manually move them to the top of the list.

My technicians do not need to see the cost of our products and services But they do need to see the selling price and be able to invoice. The way it is currently I can not get a clear picture of my profits with out the whole company knowing

While viewing the pricebook, it would be helpful to be able to see the margin for each individual part in the table.

This is flaw and should be fixed as soon as possible. With tarriffs going on now my prices are changing every week. This failure could be a real headache for me. Please fix right away..

The layout and navigation for the desktop version of the price book needs an update. It's very hard to navigate. You should be able to click through categories just like the mobile app version and drill down on items.

We need to see a sales tax integration for third party companies that offer sales tax remittance, each state has different rules for sales tax, some states have labor and travel taxable, some do not, most require material to be taxable. Having a real third party integration for checking sales tax would be incredible. We keep trying to move away from Workiz but every time we attempt to we find the platform is far better than where we want to move. The only thing workiz is really missing is sales tax calculations.

Allow us to actually do bulk importing of pricebook and layout. The way it’s set up is so inconvenient and time consuming. Either give the ability to mass import everything at once or redesign the pricebook so it looks as it does when actually going into pricebook on a sales call. I should be able to go into whatever category and add as many items as i want while in there so it organized. I’m certain this is what you do on the backend with mass import. Give us the same ability

There needs to be a way to create items in the price book to be used for estimates and invoices separately. If you create an item with a description to be used for an estimate, then when you select the same item to build the invoice, we should not have to manually delete the entire description that is saved for the estimate.
