I would love to see Workiz allow workflows to be attached directly to checklists. This could create a much smoother process for technicians by having the checklist drive the workflow, job status updates, and required reporting, instead of forcing users to jump between different parts of the app. For example, the checklist could guide the technician step by step through the full job flow: Dispatching > On the Way text > Arriving > Assessment > Before Photos > Estimate > Signature/Payment > Secondary Visit > Repair > Final Signature > After Photos As soon as the technician marks the arrival step, the checklist should automatically prompt the next reporting and action steps required to begin the assessment. This would help ensure the technician follows the proper process immediately after arrival, without needing to search through different sections of the app. Each checklist item could be linked to the related job function, so as the technician completes each step, the system would automatically sync the information into the job file. That means photos, notes, estimates, signatures, payments, and status updates would all be connected directly to the checklist workflow. This would allow most of the technician’s work to happen from one place, with the checklist acting as the main operational flow. As information is completed, the system could automatically move the job through statuses such as: Submitted > In Progress > Pending > Complete Once all required checklist items, reporting, and payments are completed, the system could automatically close the ticket. This would reduce app switching, improve consistency, ensure technicians do not miss required steps, and make the entire job process more efficient and easier to manage.
