I would like to submit a feature request regarding roles and permissions within the system. There are situations where we send a technician out for a potential warranty call or a standard service visit. In these cases, it is important for the technician to have access to the customer’s history, including any pending estimates, previously completed work, and any job site photos associated with that customer. Currently, the only way to grant this access is by enabling the setting that allows users to view other users’ jobs. However, this also provides visibility into other technicians’ schedules, which is not necessary for their role and may create avoidable conflicts or distractions. It would be highly beneficial to have more granular control over permissions by separating these into individual toggles. For example: * A permission to view full customer history (including estimates, past work, and photos) * A permission to view messages * A separate permission to view schedules This would allow technicians to access the information they need to perform their work effectively, without exposing unrelated scheduling details of other team members.
