Feature Requests

I am getting older, unfortunately. I can't remember what all the icons represent. So, I always open the navigation menu to read the labels. But there is no option to keep it open so anytime I need to click a button in the menu, I have to reopen it. Lots of clicks!

This week, suddenly I have lost multiple points of middle-click (mouse wheel) functionality. I can't open jobs into a new tab from by middle clicking the "expand" button from the calendar. I can't open the messages screen by middle clicking the Messages icon in the task bar. The option to open the Client dashboard from a job by middle-clicking the Customer name was already taken away when the About/History/Notes side bar was implemented, which is already adding multiple new clicks to access needed information. Less clicks and better workflow should always be the goal. Taking middle-click/new tab options away like this is adding all kinds of annoying steps to the workflow. Notes: I have duplicated this experience in multiple browsers (Chrome, DDG, Safar).

The new update is a little bright and painful to look at

I love the new update on messages to sort between customers and team members. For account users that are managing more than one company, it would be great to be able to also have a category for external companies for easier managing.

Can you please optimize the web application to effectively work on a tablet such as an iPad? Most of us are field service companies and don’t necessarily have an office staff at a regular computer. We need to be able to make changes on the fly or in the filed since the mobile app does not allow us to create a lot of items or make a lot of changes the same way the web application does.

Many of the tables inside Workiz are difficult to read, such as the lead table. There is a lot of wasted space around each record, and the text is often cut off. This issue is prevalent throughout the app. It would be beneficial to revamp the tables in Workiz to improve the user experience. We use tables in almost every page in workiz. Additionally, modern filters and sorting options with advanced views that can be saved would be a valuable add!

Need Group Timesheet option. When i send a crew out to a job i'd like the ability to have my lead clock in/out the entire crew working at the job or on that day. If they go to multiple addresses in a day i would like the lead to clock in each person's hours. The option to have a group timesheet by day/job specific would be beneficial to us.

Most drop down pickers on websites and forms, always default to the nearest available time slot to the one that is selected when making a change so you dont have to scroll and scroll when you need to make a time adjusment or change. But WorkIz always defaults to 12:00 am every time you need to make an adjustment, and that's so annoyingly time consuming

can you give us the option to have a top tab menu instead of the sliding side bar menu? It never slides properly and you cannot see everything that you need to. Having everything move to the top with maybe drop-down menus would be so much more efficient. The sliding side bar never works properly on the side.

Add the option to have customized buttons within the client or job to send an appointment confirmation or a review request instantly rather than building a ton of automations. It would be nice to just hit a button when we are ready to send the appointment confirmation instead of relying on an automation, which may or may not work depending on the time of day or status of the job.
