Hello Workiz Team, I’d like to submit a feature request related to how client locations are structured in Workiz. Our company services large commercial properties such as schools, churches, and multi-suite office buildings. These locations often have complex HVAC systems that control specific rooms or groups of rooms (classrooms, kitchens, gyms, offices, etc.). Current Challenge At the moment, the only way to separate and track work by room is to create multiple “addresses” under the same client using room or suite numbers. This creates several issues: * The rooms are not separate physical addresses * Client records become cluttered and confusing * Reporting and service history tracking by room or system becomes inefficient Requested Improvement We would benefit greatly from a hierarchical location structure within a single client, for example: * Client: St. John’s Catholic School * Building: Kloonan Hall * Room(s): Room 7, Room 9, Room 11 Ideally, this would allow us to: * Create multiple buildings under one client/location * Assign individual rooms to specific buildings * Associate jobs, equipment, and service history directly to one or multiple rooms * Select multiple rooms for a single job when one HVAC system serves multiple areas This structure would significantly improve organization, accuracy, and long-term service tracking for commercial HVAC clients.
