We are very disappointed with the service. We currently use Workiz for our phone system with a customized plan for $325 per month. Since Workiz recently implemented the AI feature, we would love to add it so AI can answer calls after hours or when a call is missed. However, we already have dispatchers available from 8 AM to 8 PM, so AI would only serve as a backup—it could never replace a main agent in our type of business.
Now, Workiz is forcing us into an unfair pricing structure, offering no flexibility in how we use both AI and the regular phone plan. The only option given is to upgrade to a $1,200/month plan for the exact same service we currently have at $325—just because the AI feature is included.
We understand how AI voice systems work; it's a simple customized setup on the backend. Currently, we pay $325 for 6,000 minutes. If AI is only used to handle missed calls and after-hours calls—likely no more than 500 minutes—while the remaining 5,500 minutes remain unchanged, why should we be charged $1,200 for the same 6,000 minutes?
This pricing structure takes advantage of customers and feels like an indirect way of overcharging. We hope Workiz can offer a fair and reasonable solution.
