Currently tax is only applied to the "Price" of an item (in other words the amount after marking up the cost). This is great for things like sales tax, however when calculating "use tax" it is helpful to apply a tax to the "cost" of the item, them mark up if desired.
Also the current way of calculating items under a job only allows for one tax rate to be applied to the invoice.
Under edit items there is a toggle that allows for the item to be a "taxable item." If there were another toggle option here for "Use tax," that would only apply the tax to the cost of an item that would be helpful. This way when creating an invoice it would be possible to have two different ways of applying tax. Also when running tax reports it would be possible to see how much was "use tax" and how much was "tax."
"Use tax" is something that is used quite often in our line of work and something that I believe is quite common. If we have no way of being able to generate and track "use tax" within workiz we might need to reevaluate using this product.
