Task specific automations

Being able to add Job Tags to tasks would also be incredibly helpful for scheduling. Currently we can't (or don't know how..) and we use tasks on a regular basis that are quick references for scheudling like "1st AM" for first appointment of the morning, or "PM" if they need afternoon. Simple tagging of the task's display on the schedule would be amazingly helpful.

Task notification to customer.

Why is there no automation that notifies a customer of a task time and date.
If we schedule a job or a lead the customer gets a text and/or email. but there is nothing for task.
We have had several customer call because they have not had any notification from the system of the followup visit.

Tasks No Automation/Tags/Reporting

Tasks allow multi-day scheduling, however Task elements are not available as part of Automation, reporting, so you cannot send reminders, or any other automation function or have tasks show as part of custom reporting.
Additionally since Tasks are a way for multiple items on an Invoice I would like to see them have access to Job Tags, and Task Job Type for scheduling. This expands functionality on the limitation of a single Job per Invoice

Allow an automation to be sent to techs when a task has been scheduled as this can occur throughout the day and they may not see them as Workiz does not automatically updated throughout the day.

Task Automation

Please add automation for tasks. For example, when you create a new task, the client should receive a notification confirming that the task has been created.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for your feedback. We are looking to add tasks to the automations system soon.
