We operate both a storefront and mobile service. In many cases, especially with walk in customers at the shop, I need to quickly charge a credit card without first creating a full client profile in the system. Right now, the app only allows taking payment from existing contacts, which slows down the process and creates unnecessary steps for simple transactions.

What I am requesting is the option to:

• Take a payment without adding the client to the database first

• Complete the transaction as a “walk in” or “guest” payment

• Have the option to assign that transaction to a client later if needed

This would greatly improve speed and usability for storefront operations and quick counter sales. I believe many other businesses with physical locations or fast transactions would also benefit from this option.

If this is not something that can be added, I may need to consider using a separate merchant service just for walk in payments, which I would prefer to avoid since I want to keep everything inside Workiz.
