Separate Credit Card Fee and Tax Explanation on Invoices

We use the Workiz app to create and send invoices. In Ontario, the tax rate is 13%, and we sometimes add a 3% credit card fee. However, the app currently doesn’t allow us to either add a separate line for the credit card fee or provide an explanation that the total 16% charge includes both the 13% tax and 3% fee. This has led to confusion among clients who think we're incorrectly charging a 16% tax.
We suggest adding the ability to either:
- Separate the tax and credit card fee into different lines on the invoice.
- Include an explanatory note specifying the breakdown of charges.
We know that it's easily can be done in other systems like Housecall Pro or for example in Stripe.
While Workies Pay allows adding a credit card fee, we prefer to use an external payment system due to quicker fund availability. Therefore, it’s important to have this feature directly in Workies CRM.
