When searching for an item to add to a job or invoice on the mobile app, the round loading logo pops up and takes about 30 seconds to find any results.
We have approximately 5,000 items in our price book, and about 1,500 of them are managed by the Workiz inventory system. We are wondering if this is the issue? We have yet to find a solution to this even after mentioning it several times to the help center, they always ask us to ensure a good connection to wifi and to reinstall the app. This does not solve anything.
The reason it's a problem and why it needs to be corrected : My techs get impatient and end up creating a new item instead. The mobile app allows creating duplicate items, however, duplicate items do not sync to quickbooks, therefore the entire invoice does not sync to quickbooks. This causes accounting issues. I've asked my techs to be more patient, but it wastes their time to stand around waiting for the app to load.
The search for items used to be instantaneous, then suddenly started taking 20-30 seconds for each search. When we have jobs that have 5-10 items, this ends up wasting a significant amount of time.
Please correct this, or provide some sort of solution or proper explanation.
