search for a date on the schedule

Sometimes I need to go back to look at the schedule. A search option to select the date I need is much needed. We use the time line view and I have to click and go one day at a time until I get to the date I need. If this feature exists please tell me where it is.

You can click on month or week and get closer to the date you need and then click back on your timeline. I know this isn't a search really, but it would be faster than one day at a time if you need to go back more than a week. :-)
