Ability to schedule text messages to send at a future date

Sometimes I want to send a text but not until the following day and at a specific time. Would be great to have the option to schedule those messages to send at a later time like many messages apps do.

Was this ever implemented? I saw quick reply templates are there, just curious if Delayed messages is a thing and I missed it since I see it was planned since a year ago

Hi Tal Alon and Jason Kiel. I am glad to inform you that we have both delayed messages and quick reply templates scheduled for development in the near future.

Are you referring to text messages to clients or to the techs?
Jenn Pendrak
My dispatcher just requested this as well. When she's working before office hours, she would like to set messages to go out a little later in the day. We used to use ZipWhip and this was a feature she utilized frequently.

Thank you Tony Fuentes for your input. I will investigate the feature request and prioritize based on that research.
Best,

Yes! And, selectable pre-written messages. On my phone I have several frequently sent messages saved, that I can select from. It's great for asking customers to leave reviews. I am sure once I upgrade to automations, I will reduce some of my need for this.
Tal Alon
Jason Kiel: I use notifications and job su-status sometimes for that. You can try it without the automation
J
Jason Kiel
Tal Alon: meh...I can see automations working for some of that... but there are some things I specifically dont eant automated or I need to slightly customize.
I am nit sure what you are talking about job su status tho. Could you explain that?
Tal Alon
Jason Kiel: I create a specific "sub-status" that will be called for example "leave review sms" then go to notification and create and choose "notify client" > "notify by sms" > tigger by status.
then when you change job status to "leave review sms" it will then submit that message to the client and after you can close the job by changing again the status to "done".
This is not part of the automation subscription its only using your text plan.
