Save credit card when the customer pays deposit using the link

Many of our customers assume their credit card is saved in our system after they pay the deposit using the link to confirm their booking. As a result, they often expect us to charge their card automatically once the job is completed.
However, when we call them to request the remaining payment, they often find it inconvenient to revisit the payment link and re-enter their card information.
It would be highly beneficial if we had an option to simply click a button that charges the card used for the deposit, without needing to store the full card details.

idan kadosh When we send an estimate to customers, they can approve it by clicking the "Approve and Make a Payment" button. This payment serves as a 50% deposit to secure the appointment

Peter Parra: There is the possibility of saving a card on file when the client pays a deposit. See the toggle above the 'Pay' button. But they need to proactively toggle it on.
Is your ask here that the card be saved automatically when collecting a deposit?

Orit Tepper I’d prefer for the card to be saved automatically without requiring the toggle. I’m open to including a disclaimer to inform customers that their card will be saved automatically. Please let me know how we can implement this.
