route optimization feature

I would like to suggest the addition of a route optimization feature.
This feature is common in many CRM solutions and would significantly enhance the efficiency of our service routes, reducing time and operational costs. It would be especially useful for businesses involved in logistics, sales visits, or field services.
The feature could include capabilities such as:
Optimizing multiple stops based on distance and traffic.
Real-time route adjustments.
Integration with mapping and GPS services.
I believe this addition could provide significant value to users who manage routes for deliveries, customer visits, or field service operations.
Thank you for considering this feature!

Route Optimizations

It would be helpful if Workiz added route optimization that assigns jobs to technicians based on their starting location and the number of jobs per day. Additionally, in the map section, it would be great to see jobs displayed in chronological order along with their time windows. This way, it would be easier to assign jobs without needing to click on each one to see the time and to avoid overbooking multiple jobs at the same time for the same technician in different locations

Ability to Optimize Routing of Jobs based on Start Location I Set
A
AA Rodrigues
I want the ability to select a list of jobs or even all the jobs on a specific date, and then create an optimized driving route based on job locations for a specific crew. For example, I have a landscape business and mowing of 40+ properties every Thursday and Friday. On those days, all the mowing jobs are in random order in workiz, so unless I manually reorder them EVERY SINGLE week, they show up to techs completely out of order. I have taken to writing a list in a word doc for my guys to follow and doing so makes this VERY expensive software useless on those days (in fact it usually creates more work for me needing to close jobs manually myself). JOBBER is great reference for this feature (i hate jobber, but must admit I loved that they had this feature).
There was a Master Route in settings that would be set by me based on if all clients were scheduled in one day, this master route would be used as default to optimize service routes for crews based on locations with the shop as starting point.
-> I would then just click on a day, then job type, select the crew and click optimize and it would re-order all the jobs for me
-> I could then modify list by changing a specific jobs placement that day, or select a different starting point if my guys werent starting the day at the shop, etc.
INCREDIBLY USEFUL FEATURE, I really dont like having to reorder every single job every single week in workiz, please please develop this feature! See photos for reference below

Built in route optimization feature

I currently use a program that allows you to input a list of addresses. You can specify the time you'll spend at each address and a start and end location. Then it allows you to optimize the route. It creates the most efficient route possible so that the tech saves time and the company saves on fuel cost. If Workiz had this feature, it would be a game changer.

Plan Route for all Routes on map

I love the newer plan route feature. Is there a way to get all 10 routes (in my case, we have 10 different routes) all on 1 map? Along with knowing which jobs are the first, 2nd, etc., for each rout? In other words, we have 10 routes, with 4 different time slots. An 8-10 am, 10-Noon, Noon-2 and a 2-4 pm arrival time window. If I could see all our routes on 1 map, with also being able to separate all the 8-10's together, 10-Noon, etc so I can map out our best routes for the time slots our customers are booked for, that would be extremely helpful!

feature in Workiz where you can optimize your routes.

What would you think about a feature in Workiz where you can optimize your routes. This would be a good feature for lawn mowing, snow removal, pest control, pool cleaning, etc.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Need a better explanation?:
So let's say you have 10 jobs in one day. This feature would help you to determine what job you should go to first, the second, then third, etc. This will help you with drive time and save time on gas. Even better it will tell you when you'll arrive at the job. So let's say for these 10 jobs you have a time frame between 25 min - and 40 min per job or more. You set that time, and it will auto-calculate when you'll arrive at the job. We can take this a step further. Let's say you have a business address / or home address that you work out of, you would then set that as your hub point, and from there, it would calculate from there what job you should go to first.
What are your thoughts????

90% of softwares do this exept workiz, they also tell you a time frame to book it and which tech is the closest to that appointment with their route.
Farshad Darvish
disappointing to see workiz does not have planning routes or route optimisation in this field especially when MANY competitors like Rossware, jobber, fieldm8 fieldpulse have this feature, their softwares also recommends you to book a job closer to a existing booking and with which tech which makes booking seemless especially when you have many booking coming through.

Farshad Darvish With AI you'd think it would be easier than ever to implement this feature now.
