This integration is really not great. It's almost not worth using and we are considering turning off the integration and exporting the data manually. Here are some frequent issues:
-About 90% of the time, Payments & Invoices aren't "linked" on the Quickbooks side. I have to go into the invoices and click "Receive" payment in order to apply the payment to the invoice.
-Payment entries are sometimes duplicated - entered twice on the Quickbooks side.
  • Even though I have checked "Sync Extra Job Field", and created a class dropdown, that class is not mapping appropriately to Quickbooks. We still have to manually class every invoice.
  • If an invoice is updated in Workiz after creation, the updated information does not automatically sync to Quickbooks. Sometimes I can't even get it to sync manually.
I reconcile weekly and have to spend about an 30-60 minutes each time fixing these issues.
