Phone screen off while talking

A huge issue is that when our techs answer their phones, the android phone stays on and their cheeks press buttons on the phone (mute clients, open other apps, hang up on clients)
This is an ongoing issue that every person in my employ complains about. Please have the screen turn off when putting the phone to a face like eveyr other app does.

The screen stays on when receiving or making a phone call through the workiz app. This means all of us are accidentally pressing buttons with our face and it has caused some issues for us.
I understand the point is to be able to add jobs from the screen, but that is easy enough when we pull the screen away from our face and the screen would go back on (like every other call app). This reasoning does not make sense to me. The phone sensor should turn off the screen once we pull it to our face.
