Need a record of which e-mail address was used when proposals, estimates, and invoices are sent.

Hi,
Orit here from the Workiz Team. Trying to better understand your use cases. When do you go and look at these email addresses?
Would you want to see the email in the job activity for general tracking?
Would you want the option of saving the email to the client when the document is sent?

Orit Tepper Yes, seeing the e-mail address in the job activity is an absolute must in my opinion. This would enable us to verify that the e-mail was sent to the correct address. The option to add it to the clients would be nice, especially if it had the option of updating or adding a new contact for that job, however, this is not as urgent of an issue as a record of which e-mail it was sent to.
A separate but related issue, but worth noting here:
Not having multiple contacts for a job is a real down side to workiz. We have clients (customers) with multiple people and thus multiple contacts. We need to know who it was sent to. Ideally, each lead and/or job needs to have multiple contacts with the following information for each contact:
Name
Position (ie Sidney Center facility Maintenance Mechanic)
Phone number with descriptor & extension(Cell)
2nd phone number with descriptor & extension (Office ext 210)
e-mail.

Ivan Byler I agree completely. It's difficult to manage clients within workiz when you can only have one name and one email. We usually have one for billing, one for the client, one for the contractor, sometimes the spouse. The way it is now, I have to rely on my memory (which is a bad idea) to know who to send the estimate to, who to send the invoice to, etc.

Along with this, if there could be a history (date, time, email address) of EACH time the invoice was sent. If we could tell if it was delivered/read would be an added bonus. And a text message/email if it bounced. It would be nice if this could be available on each particular invoice instead of searching through message history.

Ivan Byler 1,000 times this. We desperately need the ability to have multiple contacts for one job. (We also desperately need the ability to edit each client/parent client's invoices to fit their requirements, but that's a separate issue.)

Orit Tepper Yes in the timeline when it says email sent we need to know which email. Also, for estimates, there's no timeline? I click send email, how do I know it actually sent?

Yes this is needed!! Right now I cc myself on all estimates & invoices which is time consuming but from time to time I need to be able to look back on who the invoice went to. In the timeline where it is documented when the invoice or estimate was sent it would be nice if the email address it was sent to was also documented.
