Multi-Day Job Scheduling
planned

It seems like this is a pretty popular topic, but we need more ability to modify job start dates/end dates. Specifically, we have multi-week projects at times (that do not include weekend dates) - we need to be able to adjust as needed instead of having to create a different "job" every week. I understand tasks may be a workaround from what I've read but I don't see how that will fully resolve the problem because the job will still show on the calendar for the entire two or three weeks (whatever time frame) and for planning purposes we need it to NOT show on the dates we will not have a crew there.

Please implement this as soon as possible. This critical for any contractor that works more than 8 hours on a project. Also need the ability to change the technicians on a per phase basis.

I have asked about this feature for a long time and happy its going to implemented. I also have anther feature that is vital to making the software more efficient and want to discuss with the product team.

Daria Landa Hi, I'd be happy to chat about this. Also I think this needs to have a history of the employees that were assigned each day in case of crew changes on these roll over jobs for followups the assigned and unassigned doesn't really work since sometimes crews change or added as routes changes.

Multi Day Projects

If we have a technician assigned to a project for multiple days, he has to go back to the start day to log in each day. It would be great for multi day projects to show up on the technicians schedule for each day when looking at the schedule view on the app

So good to see this suggestion as planned by Workiz. I'm really looking forward to seeing what can be implemented.
We have recurring contract work, and at the moment the solution is to keep changing the dates of the job to the next week we will be on site. But that means we aren't keeping a record on the schedule of the dates and times our teams were there, only in the hours recorded by each technician in the items tab of the same job as it moves along in the calendar.
That might be the best solution for contract work, or, to keep making new jobs for the client with each new week we are on site there.
For a single job that spans multiple weeks, it would be ace to put multiple time blocks in the job so it appears on the schedule only the days we are on site there. And, be able to schedule different technicians for each time block.

idan kadosh Hi Idan - Jobber has this feature mapped out
perfectly
. On a given job, multiple "visits" are able to be created. Those visits can be assigned to different individuals on our team. The visits also allow photos, notes, etc., to be saved under a specific visit, while also showing all photos/notes/etc. on the main job. I don't think WorkIZ development needs to recreate the wheel here. Please please please just set it up like Jobber, because they've done it perfectly. Do you have an approximate timeline for when this will be implemented?Bill Malone
idan kadosh THANK YOU!!
Ben Daniel
idan kadosh Do you have a timeline for this? I asked a month ago and we're desperate to know when this can be done. We've considered changing CRMs and this is on the top 5 list of capabilities we need

This is something we plan to start working on in the upcoming quarter. So the solution is on it's way and it will probably take few more months.
Thank you,

Why don't they show on both days, instead of just the initial day?

Multiple Client Appointments for Same Job

Bigger jobs require more than one visit. We'd like to be able to create multiple appointments under the same job and have a visual appointment history. In the current setup, we have to manually move the date each time, but that doesn't allow us to track when we were on site. We need more flexibility here.

We would like to be able to schedule one job for multiple days with specific dates and times not this wide range of times its messy and does not work well.
