I feel like the leads and estimates should work better together. For example: When a lead is marked 'lost' i think the estimate attached to the lead should also be marked denied. Another example is if a lead is marked 'approved' the estimate should be changed to approved as well. And once the lead is converted into a job, the estimate should be marked 'won'.
