Invoice numbering from Workiz to QBO

I just talked w/WZ about this and it's not possible. QB has it's own system for invoice creation that includes "+1". WZ's work around is to have the text string including the INV #. So at least the INV #s will match.

Indy Little This is not true - I spoke with developers at QBO and used Jobber which does not do this.

Justin what is not true? I don't doubt that I can be misinformed. I just want to know what part I'm misinformed about.
I'd really want to help make these systems the best they can be for seamless integration and ease of use. I was told b/c QB has a "+1" for invoice creation it means every time an invoice is made in QB it increases the number of the new invoiced created by one number, i.e., last invoice #100, next invoice created will be #101.
Something about WZ syncing back to QB isn't compatible with QB's +1 system, thus the string of text with the WZ invoice number embedded for new invoices.

Indy Little the Workiz database was not made flexible enough to add its own primary keys so it relies on adding text "SAJ" to identify the data in their database. Other venders like Jobber etc. have built out the full integration so that the invoice numbers are reflected the same in QBO and their systems. It is not a about Workiz not being able to do it - its they haven't done it.

Justin, cool. 10-4, thank you for that explanation. 'Preciate it.

Yesssss this is very inconvenient. Because Workiz will sync an invoice 1234 over to QBO as SAJ1234 and when you use qbo search for "1234" the invoice doesn't come up. You have to type in the extra letters which is redundant, confusing, and annoying.

Nathan Spindler 100% and it is very hard for our clients to reconcile their stament issued from QBO - since Workiz does not produce statements.
