I wanted to share a feature request that would greatly improve our workflow.
Currently, once an estimate is sent to a customer, we’re unable to view the original version in the history. This creates challenges when changes are made.
For example, if I send an estimate with 10 line items and the customer later asks to remove 2 items, and then calls back to add them again, there’s no way for me to reference the original pricing. This becomes especially problematic for custom or non–flat rate items, where pricing may vary.
It would be extremely helpful to have an option to view the full history of sent estimates, including previous versions and pricing details. Even a simple version log or revision history would solve this issue.
Please let me know if this is something already in development or if it can be considered for a future update.
