When a client submits an Online Booking request, Workiz automatically emails them "Your Booking Confirmation… here are the details of your appointment," even when Booking preferences is set to "Require approval." Per the Online Booking FAQ, this email cannot be edited or disabled.
Why this is a problem:
  • A request awaiting approval is not a booking. Clients treat the email as a confirmed appointment, even if the business never confirms (e.g. the client entered a wrong phone number, the area isn't serviced, or the slot isn't available). We had a client waiting for a technician who was never scheduled because of this email.
  • It shows only the start time ("Time: 1:00 PM") instead of the selected arrival window ("1:00 PM – 5:00 PM"), so clients expect the tech at the start time.
  • It's English only. Businesses in Quebec (and other bilingual/non-English markets) must communicate with consumers in French.
Requested:
  1. If "Require approval" or "Create lead" is selected, send no confirmation, or only a "Request received – we'll contact you to confirm" message.
  2. Add an on/off toggle for this email.
  3. Make the template editable (with placeholders), including bilingual/multi-language content.
  4. Show the full arrival window instead of only the start time.
