we tried adding a discount option in the price book but it will not allow negative numbers.

This is a must have if we cannot have multiple discounts below

I add a service line item for discounts use zero dollars to created. When invoicing type -100 for $100 discount, it subtracts from the total and customers see the line item on invoice
