Critical Issues in Workiz and QuickBooks Online Integration

I am writing to express our growing concerns about the persistent issues in the synchronization between Workiz and QuickBooks Online. The challenges in maintaining accurate and orderly financial records due to integration problems are severe.
Invoice Numbering Discrepancies
Invoices synced from Workiz to QuickBooks Online often have letters appended to the invoice numbers, disrupting the sequential order essential for record-keeping and financial audits. Maintaining consistent invoice numbering is critical for tracking transactions, ensuring compliance, and facilitating efficient financial management.
Inconsistent Service Descriptions
One of the most critical issues is the mismatch in service descriptions. Invoices generated using the flat-rate book in Workiz are designed to reflect the service we sold. However, once synchronized with QuickBooks, these invoices instead display an itemized list of all materials and labor.
This inconsistency has far-reaching implications:
Record Keeping: Accurate records are the backbone of effective financial management. When service descriptions are replaced with a detailed list of components, it becomes harder to trace the nature of the service provided.
Marketing, Customer Service & Warranty
Ownership of Data: As QuickBooks is the main software for our accounting and bookkeeping, our records in QuickBooks must reflect the true nature of our services. Accurate, concise invoices give us control over our data.
We urge you to listen to your customers. There is a growing and widespread complaint that Workiz has prioritized introducing new features over fixing essential ones like the QuickBooks integration. While innovation is necessary, the foundation of a good service platform lies in solving core issues that impact daily business operations.
Additionally, we are disappointed in the lack of adequate customer support. The chat support system is ineffective—responses are delayed to the point where our team is no longer available when we finally get a mediocre response, making it impossible to hold a proper conversation or find a capable person to assist us with issues.
It is worth noting that several of your competitors have implemented way better integrations with QuickBooks Online. These integrations preserve invoice numbering integrity and ensure consistent service descriptions, giving users confidence that their records are accurate across platforms. I have used more straightforward software like Quoting app that keeps service descriptions, and Contractor Foreman, which has invoice numbering integrity and service descriptions. We all know it is not impossible, but your support only responds with vague claims about how it's a QuickBooks issue.
We hope to see your team rise to meet your customers' expectations and resolve these integration challenges quickly.

I am CONSTANTLY trying to get Workiz to fix their issues with the QBO integration. Most recently, random payouts are showing in the bank feed.
The naming standard/integration is cumbersome to say the least!

I contacted QBs and this is what they said: I would suggest to contact Workiz for them to double check on their mapping.
