Create Invoice and Send Invoice - 2 Automations

1) Create Invoice:
Automation1: When A JOB HAS a STATUS of "Finalized"
Create an Invoice Immediately.
-> This is okay! Works perfect!
2) Send Invoice:
Automation2: When an Invoice is Created
Send a client a text immediately
->This works, but inside the Text message we can put a {...}invoice_link, but this not work when customer click because the invoice is not sent yet! for customer show up error 404, for Workiz user show up UNSENT (Preview mode).
Could you guys fix this! Just one option that when sent an invoice link by SMS or Email that make works. Or when create invoice though the Automation make this invoice link Actions AS SENT.
ALMOST WORKIZ PERFECT! Just need to fix this part 2 invoice link above.

Orit Tepper, Hello! Today (10/31/2024) no work like yesterday! The second automation do not send the invoice! Could you help me? They send the invoice link but when you go there to check the invoice is UNSENT.

Hi Jean and to everyone who voted on this post - thank you. The 'Preview mode' is a new feature and should be better explained.
Triggering an automation for invoice or estimate created does send a notification with a link to the client portal.
The link should open properly for your client.
However if you want to test this automation, please make sure you are opening the link in Incognito (copy paste it from the Message Center). You'll see that the link opens as expected.
Otherwise, if not opened in an Incognito browser, the Client Portal looks at the user who is opening the link, and will open it for your user. As an admin or Workiz User, you see the link in Preview Mode. This mode is meant to highlight the fact that in Preview mode, unsent documents associated with the client may be shown.
Sorry for the confusion. We will make this clearer in the Help Center article.

Orit Tepper to clarify, if the automation for "create invoice when job is done" is activated, it will automatically SEND the client the invoice also without a second automation needed?

Brittney, No! you still need the second automation. One for create and other for send.
