would love this feature on our team
Dj Haer Jr
I've ran my first SMS bulk text & made a campaign for both email and SMS.
A few suggestions to the beta:
- When you send an SMS - you should be able to see the msg sent in the convo with each customer when it's sent. - Or atleast have a msg section where you can see each customer that got a text.
- You should be able to exclude certain customers within the given filter selectively. Might have 1 customer that should be excluded from marketing msgs. (Also can add this request to their customer profile.)
- You should be able to have a drop down for account/customer info like when making documents with changing variables - {account_name} for example.
- When filtering audience - you should be able to view each individual customer that would be getting a text & have a checkbox in order to unselect someone for some reason.

Adding to this:
In the audience you should be able to filter for customers by last service date (going out). So for example:
Sally's last service date was [60 days ago]. I want to send her a SMS with a discount code for her next service.
Currently they have this (in screen shot) - but it doesn't allow you to have a trailing automation for SMS based on time since last job.

Nix that last comment. You can just use the 'when not matched' option for it.

Def need a delete button for a campaign.

Text Message Blast Feature
Andre Marshall
- Direct & Immediate Communication
Text messages have a 98% open rate compared to email’s ~20–30%. A text blast ensures critical updates, promotions, and reminders reach customers instantly and are actually seen.
- Increased Customer Engagement
People respond to texts faster than emails or calls. A bulk SMS feature allows businesses to announce seasonal promotions, service discounts, reminders, or urgent updates (like same-day availability) in real time, driving faster responses and bookings.
- Revenue Growth Tool
Targeted message blasts can quickly fill the schedule during slow periods, promote upsells (like roller or spring upgrades), and create repeat business through maintenance reminders—turning idle time into revenue opportunities.
- Operational Efficiency
Instead of manually sending texts one by one, a mass message saves time and ensures consistent messaging. This improves workflow efficiency while reducing errors or missed outreach.
- Customer Retention & Loyalty
Regular, value-driven texts (VIP offers, safety tips, reminders) help build stronger relationships with past customers, keeping the business top of mind when they need service again.
- Competitive Edge
Most small service businesses still rely on calls or emails. Adding a text blast feature gives a modern, customer-preferred communication tool that sets the platform apart from competitors.
