Time Windows

The ability instead of picking a specific time, It would be nice if there was an option to give us the option to have different window options. We use specifically 2 hour windows.

Setting up windows that run concurrently with a set quantity of each window allowed to be booked.
Billy Goldstein
I am setting up my booking portal and would like to offer 9-1, 10-2, 11-3, 12-4, 1-5 and 2-6 windows for scheduling. And 3 available bookings for each window.
I tried to set it up but I can't figure how to allow windows to run concurrently so it is only allowing me to choose a 9-1 or 1-5 window.
Thanks again!

Auto window select

It would be nice to establish your window lengths (1,2,3,4 hours, etc) and when you select a start time, it automatically assigns an end time.

Arrival window vs. actual job duration
Amanda Mills
It would be very helpful to give the client an arrival window but reflect a specific duration on our schedule. Example: we give the client an arrival window of 8:30-10:30am, but on our schedule we can block off 8:30-2:30pm, as that's the anticipated duration of the job. Otherwise the client receives a reminder of their appointment with an arrival window of 8:30-2:30pm, confusing them as to why they have a 6 hour arrival window.

Time windows for appointments

When booking a customer for an appointment, there is a time window that it allows you to add onto the schedule, however, when the system generates a text message to the customer, there is a specific time on there, no time window. It would be a great addition and help clear some confusion our clients have about appointment times.

The ability to give a customer an arrival window and have that reflected in the job updates (automated texts, emails, etc.) is critical for the service industry. This NEEDS to be a Workiz feature as soon as possible - it's already been implemented by Workiz competitors, e.g. HouseCall Pro.

It would be nice to give the customer a 2 hour arrival window instead of give a specific time.

Arrival windows would be a great addition that I think many would appreciate, especially those in high-traffic cities. Both Jobber and Markate have nice solutions.

you can do this in your automation for the message you send out. You just say something like:
"Hello {customer name}, thank you for recently booking with [company name}.
We are all set for your appointment between {job start time} and {job end time} at {job address}. We'll also make sure to send a message before heading your way to better confirm that time. See you soon!"
