ADD A SERVICE ADDRESS TO AN ESTIMATE
Vicki Pippin
Within Workiz, you classify a potential job as a "LEAD"...but most businesses would classify a "LEAD" as a potential customer, NOT a potential job. Once they are already a customer, I just need to be able to send them another estimate for a new job as a returning customer, and many of our customers have multiple addresses and NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADD A SERVICE ADDRESS to each ESTIMATE. Not create a lead for the sole purpose of being able to add a service address. It adds an extra step that is absolutely unneeded. It takes time, time that I do not want to have to take for an unnecessary step. If they are a new or potential customer, then yes, create the lead to help with follow through of the different steps & follow up. But as for current customers....I just need to have the ability to add a service address to the estimate. It is boggling that I can add a service address to the job everywhere, EXCEPT when I just need an estimate?!?!

You need to change the Estimate document itself. Go to settings then Documents then Estimates then change the values under the service location to Job.jobAdress. To the left I chose Client address, which is the main address on your client page. To the right, I chose Job address, which is the service location. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like. Hopefully, this helps. It took me quite a while to figure this out.

You can add a location to the clients account and then when you make the new estimate you can select that address
