ACH fees should be capped
Zachary Murray
ACH transfer fees are almost always capped at a certain fixed number with other services. Even quickbooks, the seemingly king of fees, caps ACH transfer fees. Workiz does not.
I am very happy that workiz added the service fee for credit cards. Some of my clients are using ACH as an alternative, which is fine with us, but I only found out recently that it wasn't capped at all.

Why would we use ACH ever again if it is slower and more expensive than simply accepting a check. I for certain will never use ACH feature again with Workiz as it has taken nearly 3 weeks and counting to be paid from an ACH transfer that my customer made via Workiz.

Also ach takes 24-48 hours anywhere else. Why does workiz take so long??

Greg: My guess they keep it for their cashflow... ACH should be instant deposit and the CC should be same day deposits just like any other merchant processing. We just signed up with Workiz pay for the ease of everything in one place, But I really find it annoying it very difficult to track and manage they shouldn't have this hold on our funds as we also trying to manage our cashflow.

I Agree! As a small business owner, I have the same concerns regarding the uncapped fees that Workiz charges us for ACH transfers. While the platform offers a useful service for businesses, the lack of a fixed fee or cap on ACH transfer fees is not in line with industry standards and can create uncertainty for businesses when it comes to payment processing costs.
All the upsells and additional fees can add up and become unaffordable for businesses. While I understand that Workiz needs to make money for the services it offers, the lack of a fixed fee or cap on ACH transfer fees is not in line with industry standards and can make payment processing costs unpredictable.
I appreciate that Workiz has added a service fee for credit card payments, which is a step in the right direction. However, I would like to see a similar fee structure for ACH transfers to make payment processing more affordable and predictable for businesses.
As a paying customer, I want to ensure that I am getting value for my money and not being hit with unexpected fees. I urge Workiz to reconsider its fee structure for ACH transfers and adopt a more standardized approach to payment processing costs. This move can help retain loyal customers and attract new ones who are looking for reliable and affordable payment processing solutions.
Overall, I believe that Workiz has the opportunity to stand out in the market by providing greater transparency and predictability in payment processing costs. As a paying customer, I look forward to seeing improvements in this area.

Guy Z: I agree. Just today i hada young customer want to pay a bill of 8k. Wanted to avoid the 3% credit card fee, totally understandable, but i did not want to give him the options of ACH because of the lack of a capped fee. Instead, he chose Zelle (younger peple don't use checks a smuch, I sure don't) which is fine, but that means he can do a max of 5k a day, so we have to wait till tomorrow to receive the rest of the payment.
Most of my transcations through ACH fees wouldnt hit a cap, even if it was 5 or 10 bucks. But these big bills, I don't want to sacrifice my margin on it.

Zachary Murray: who are we to tell Workiz don't charge us too much and limit or cap how much they can... its not like were already paying for this software as well as all the other "upgrades" every month... unfortunately I don't see this fee going anywhere...
